This cosy brown-café is open daily, all year round and is an excellent place to go to for an early morning cup of coffee and paper, or for a late night local drink or a nicely priced shooter. When the weather is nice and sunny you can also sit outside on the terrace. Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel. In case you don't have your own laptop, you are welcome to use the computer at the café, also free of costs.Номера: The hotel has simple rooms with a wash basin. Many woods, beaches and dunes are within walking distance of the hotel. The village of De Koog is highly focused on tourism: from a simple camp site to a 4-star hotel. There are also a range of facilities on offer such as squash courts, subtropical swimming paradise and the biggest tourist attraction of Texel: Ecomare, the Centre for the Wadden islands and the North Sea. The ferry from Den Helder sails from 06:30 to 21:30. From Texel, the ferry sails from 06:00 to 21:00, leaving every hour on the hour. On Sundays and holidays the first ferry leaves one hour later during the summer season and two hours later in winter. On December 31st, the last ferry (both from and to the island) is cancelled. Reservations are not necessary and can not be made. On busy days the extra ferry rides during peak hours (the ferries will leave every half hour). People travelling by bus or train have a good ferry connection. Directions on the island From the ferry follow the road signs ?De Koog?. In De Koog you continue, taking a right turn automatically. You will drive past the Texaco gas station. Take a left into the street ?Nikadel?.
